Dear Maie;
Yes, so many Memories. Those were the days, my dear cousin, we thought they'd never end. We sang, danced & laughed all the way, driving to Mexico 2-3 times. The beautiful evening in Puerto Vallarta when we were serenaded by the Mariachi's, below our balcony. The funny moments in Mazatlan when I wrapped you up like a mummy in vinegar-soaked toilet paper because of all the mosquito bites. The waiter bringing vinegar, was sure we were nuts! The terrifying moments in Mt Vernon Missouri, when we were stopped for speeding. The 3 of you had a tour of the jailhouse & consequences if the fine was not paid in cash. Austria & Hungary &the beautiful Gypsy music. The storm in Cuba. Bruno & Peter climbing the coconut tree in Acapulco. The letters you wrote nightly to a secret sweetheart. Soon we were the Witnesses at your marriage to your secret sweetheart Bruno. You were the Godmother to my first born. Bruno and you were Witnesses at my sister’s wedding and a bridesmaid to my brother's wedding. The Christmas's we spent together with our mothers & all the singing Christmas Eve. The New Years parties at CircoDeLago. A lifetime of beautiful memories we shared. Still so much left to be said and songs to be sung. Vaya Con Dios, Go with God, till we meet again.
