Thinking of Uncle Stanley today and remembering his gentle humour, his patient kindness, his knowing smile, and the great love he had for his beautiful family. Our many meals and visits were always a joy, and I'm grateful to have had such a warm and caring patriarch in my life. Love and comfort to Auntie Helen, Mindy, Cindy, uncles, grandkids, and the many people who learned from, who laughed with, and who dearly loved Uncle Stanley. ♥

Dad,
This month you would have been 88, a milestone birthday we were hoping for.
We know you wanted to celebrate that one and many more after that because you just loved life and loved spending time with us. There was so much more to see and experience.
We are thankful for all the years and life you gave us. Most of all, we are thankful for the father you became – ever loving, ever generous and ever so present. It’s amazing that for someone who grew up having to carve a life independently without guidance from parents from childhood years, you became the responsible and loving father for our family.
The way you lived your life and the example you showed us becomes our guiding light. We will continue to love life, to build upon it, to treasure and experience all that it has to offer, to stay strong and persevere through all its challenges like you did and progress the legacy you left us.
We will always love you and cherish the memories of you and our life together.
Forever grateful,
Your daughters

We will always remember Uncle Stanley's calm and gentle demeanor, his good nature and his sense of humour. Uncle's love of family was evident whenever we had family gatherings. He was always so appreciative of the meals that we cooked and eager to take photos and videos of those occasions. He was attentive and observant, often surprising us with funny quips or comments at unexpected moments. Generous, kind, caring, thoughtful and patient, Uncle Stanley will be missed very much. May he rest in peace. Our heartfelt condolences to his family.

A heart of gold stopped beating
Your life a blessing and your memory a treasure
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best
God knows you had to leave us
But you did not go alone
For part of us went with you
The day he took you home
To some you are forgotten
To others just part of the past
But to us who cared and loved you
The memory will always last. You are missed dearly everyday.
