Please accept my sincere condolences. As a priest, and later as a Suffragan Bishop in the Diocese of Toronto, it was my honour and pleasure to have known Ron as a colleague and a friend. He was always at the centre of life, often playing the piano, at our Clergy Conferences, Synods, and clergy gatherings . During my time as the Incumbent of All Saints', King City, Ron served in the neighbouring parish of Maple. He at my side when I was elected a bishop in December 2000. Then, when I was the Area Bishop of York-Simcoe, Ron moved to Pentanguishene and served as my Regional Dean in Huronia. Like my wife Linda, he was from New York state. My memories include Ron and Jocelyn and their two children visiting us in Minden during their stay at Maple Sands Resort, long conversations about our beloved church, singing around the piano at our Regional Deans' annual dinner, and having a laugh together over a single malt scotch. He will be missed.
Jocelyn, please know that you and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers. May Ron rest in peace and rise in glory.
