It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Sousa on July 3, 2020.
Born in San Miguel, Portugal and predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Constantina Sousa; brothers, Manuel, Antonio, Gill, Adelino; and sister, Constance.
Daniel was also the beloved brother of Constantina.
Beloved husband of Maria Valdmira for 65 years and dearest father of Maria (Joe) and Odette (Jim). Loving grandfather to Michael, Matthew, Valerie, Emma, and Daniel. And great grandfather to Leah, Sophia, and Delilah.
After getting married he came to Canada in 1956 and he was followed by his family in 1963. He spent his life working hard to provide for his family and became very involved in the church community. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a gentle, kind, and generous family man.
Daniel will be sadly missed and mourned by his family and all who knew him.
Sadly, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the funeral will be private.
