It was both an honour and pleasure to spend over 20 years with Norm in support of the beautiful voices of the St. Bartholomew Choir. Norm was very professional and patient and I always enjoyed his terrific sense of humour. He gave so much of himself to everyone. My deepest sympathy to Jackie and the family.

My deepest condolences to Jackie and family. I only had the chance to meet Norm once and truly enjoyed conversation with him regarding his musical career. I was fortunate enough to be able to have a night out in Toronto enjoying him playing with his band, an everlasting memory.

I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Uncle Norman. I have such fond memories of him. I remember the first movie I saw at the theater was "The Sound of Music", Uncle Norman and Aunt Jackie took me to see it in Charlottetown. Aunt Jackie, Ellen, Carolyn, Philip and Grant may the memories you have of him carry you through this sad sad time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all....Geri
PS. This picture was taken in 2012 at a family reunion in PEI. I had so much fun that afternoon seeing everyone. The food was great, company second to none and the music was awesome.

My thoughts are with the Stewart family during these difficult times.
Norm was one of the kindest and gentlest human beings I have ever known. His love for his family and for music was immeasurable. He was always so supportive and encouraging - I have many fond memories of hanging and playing music with him! I will miss you Norm Stewart!

I am so saddened by the loss of Norm. He was not only a great father-in-law, but also a good friend who always made me feel welcomed, loved and part of the family. He loved his family so much and was always so giving of himself. I'll miss our talks, listening to him play the piano, and his wealth of knowledge.
Love you Norm. Rest in peace.

I only spent a few days at Norm’s house, but his warm welcome and kindness made me feel like I’d known him for years. He humbly schooled me on British history, played songs I’d never even heard of, told me about PEI and how he always made sure to sing in time when he put Grant and Phil to bed when they were babies. He kept telling me how proud he was of Grant, discretely making sure I really understood the worth of the man I’m going to marry. He, along with Jackie raised a man I love and cherish, and I’m forever grateful to them for their gift of love to me. I wish he’d seen our children and given them his love as well. He will be missed.

We were deeply saddened when we heard of the passing of Norm. He is such a gentle and kind person and a joy just to be around. God has given him the gift of music and he shared fully that gift and himself and his smiles with everyone. Norm, may you enjoy eternal peace and joy and may your beautiful voice and all your other musical talents be one with the angels and saints in singing songs of praises to God. We will keep you alive in our own lives by imitating your generousity and zest for life. We will always cherish and remember the times we spent with you. May you rest in peace and may God bless Jackie and your family.
With our love and prayers,
Tony & Tessie Lopez

Norm was my friend as well as my father in law.
A true gentleman, Norm was at all times kind and giving of himself. In all the years that I was privileged to know him, he was never harsh or angry, on the contrary Norm was always encouraging, always up-lifting.
He's in a better place now free of sickness and pain and re-acquainted with loved ones who've gone before.
Jacqueline I really wish I could give you a hug and offer some small comfort, these times however are trying and cruel.
I'll miss you Norm, I'll miss our talks, this world is a lesser place without you in it.
Love,
Andy

For many years I played my guitar beside Norm as he played keyboard at St. Barts church. One of 2 people to say I had a good voice. May songs of the angels bring him home before the face of God. Blessings to the family. Val & Terry Burman
