Sad to hear of Rosalie’s passing, but happy to hear she had a wonderful life. We were friends when we were teenagers in Agincourt.

My deepest condolences to you Ed and to your family. You had 50 adventurous years together, ones that you both created together. Through the good times and the bad times, through health and in sickness, in poverty and in riches, with grace and mercy for each other at times. You shared life together and you became one in body and soul. You became soul mates. That is the joy of marriage and friendship. With that joy there comes the time in which one has to say goodbye, or rather, until we meet again. Life is short, but eternity....well, it is forever. My prayer for you Ed and your family is one of peace, the true Shalom of Heaven and earth. From the one who gives us peace during great times of sorrow and pain. Rose will be missed, and to you Ed, she was, and always will be, the Rose of Sharon in your life. May you find comfort with your family and friends during these most difficult days, and the days to come. You are never alone, when you have your loved ones watching over you. Blessings upon you Ed and family. Kenton Rustulka, Edmonton, AB.

I remember joining the Liberal party and working for the party at leadership time It was scary until I met Rose under her guidance I learned the ins and outs of the party she became Chair of Toronto Region and I became policy chair. When I lacked confidence she always told me I could do it. We became friends, spent time in the pool at her house and worked on campaigns together. She introduced me to my husband and we've been married 27 years. Rose thank you for everything we will miss you. May your memory be eternal

My heartfelt condolences to Ed and the family. I have many happy memories of campaigns, nominations, conventions where I would always see Rose with a smile and a positive attitude. She was also a force to be reckoned with. As a young Liberal she taught me a great deal. Even in the most hard fought campaign she would demonstrate grace and joy. She will be remembered by all of us who had the good fortune to meet her.

To the Gilmore Family, Children and Grandchildren ... I am borrowing the words of Joe Biden ..
“There will come a day, I promise you, when the thought of your son, or daughter, or your wife or your husband, brings a smile to your lips before it brings a tear to your eye. It will happen. My prayer for you is that day will come sooner than later.”
Abundant Blessings of Divine Grace, Divine Love

Rose and Ed were the life of the party! I enjoyed getting to know them through my younger days and am really sad to hear of her passing. They were Party people in every sense of the word. Genuine, authentic. You always knew where you stood with Rose. You cant get any better than that.
God bless Rose!

Dear Ed
I'm very blessed to have had the opportunity to met and spend time with Rose. Her voice, presents and conversation always brightened my day. Although we may not of spent a lot of time together, the time we did spend together was quality. Thank you for allowing me to share a blink of her life. It will always be special.
