In the minuscule time we have known Millie, she opened her heart and let us into her kind and warm gentle soul. We were fortunate to have Millie attend our wedding day, for which I have shared photos here.
A centenarian with the wit and charisma of a person half her age, she will always be remembered as someone not only of pride and humility, but of great strength and empathy. We will forever be thankful to have your beautiful Bomb Girl as part of our lives, Ms. Millie MacRae.

Mill, you were my best friend and I will miss you every day. I will miss our lunches, our shopping trips and more recently our phone calls. You would say to me, “Flio, we have been talking for an hour!”

We are so lucky to have spent the time we did with Millie. She never missed a family event, and she could always keep up with everyone, she was young at heart and always so vibrant. We loved to hear her stories about being a bomb girl, it's incredible that this down to earth and funny woman, was such an important part of history. It shows you just how strong she was, and continued to be, throughout her 100 years. We are sending all of our love to Gord, Angela and Julia, as well as the rest of the MacRae family.
Lots of love, Georgia and Stefan Graci

Mrs. MacRae was a big part of my life as I grew up across the street. She was a wonderful person, always kind and caring. I have many fond memories of Maple Lake as a child, Mr. and Mrs. MacRae's former cottage. Mrs. MacRae made us feel welcome and it was a lot of fun. My Mom and Dad were very good friends with Ross and Millie for 50 years. My Mom considered Millie her best friend. Doug, Gord and Scott were fortunate to have such a great person as their Mom. My condolences to all 3 of you and your families. My Mom Florence Anderson misses her already. Their friendship especially in the last several years was strong as they supported each other with the loss of their husbands. How wonderful to live 100 years! She will be missed!

What a wonderful, kind and compassionate lady. Although 100 years of age, Millie had the mind of someone decades younger. Always classy, forever smiling and a wealth of knowledge. I am thankful for the in-depth conversations we had. I could sit and listen to her stories for hours.
My sincere condolences to the MacRae family.
Rest In Peace Millie.
