I was an accountant with KPMG and worked on the McMillan Binch audit for about ten years in the mid 70s to the mid 89s and worked very closely with Charlie during that period , he was precise and very competent in his work , he was a great client fun to work with very polite, very helpful.More that he was a true gentleman and a very fine person , my condolences to the family on his passing.

A very engaging person to talk to. Knowledgeable about a lot of things. Expressed his opinions without being overbearing. Always showed a genuine interest in what was going on in your life. A member of the 'greatest generation' (WW2 era).

Truly saddened to hear about the passing of Uncle Charlie. What a truly remarkable span of life and longevity.
I have many wonderful memories of him and the greater family. Great conversationalist and wonderful sense of humour.
He will be remembered as husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, friend, businessman, devoted parish member and so on. I will also remember him as baseball umpire- not an easy gig.
It is funny what sticks in your bank of memories. I often recall a discussion at a family event where he declared he thought that McDonald's french fries were the very best fries around.
I attended today's service online and was grateful to have the opportunity to do so considering the current social restrictions we are living under. Never the less I regret I was not able to express my condolences in person to Kelly, Brian, Karen and the rest of the family. I am truly sorry for your loss.
I look forward to paying my respects to Uncle Charlie and Aunt Camilla once his internment is complete and his memorial is in place at Mount Hope.
In addition this is a truly tough time for all as we endure the hardships imposed by this deadly virus. All the best to everyone and here's hoping we shall prevail soon.

My sincere condolences to your family. I worked with Charlie at The Packaging Association of Canada many years ago. He was a fine, kind gentle-man. We shared many laughs and chats about our Jays. Our staff all liked Charlie and loved when he started telling stories. I know he will be missed. Rest in peace Charlie. Mary Lynn Edgar.

My sincerest condolences. Both my mother and father spoke highly of Uncle Charlie. I remember your Scarborough home clearly to this day My Dad would bring me for a visit to see Grandma Hare or later when she passed. My memory is that he was laid back and easy going. My Dad and Charlie would talk while I gad some popsicles or cookies. Great memories. I bet he was a wealth of wisdom and stories. Again my heart goes out. Cherish the memories. I am sure there are many of Aunt Camilla Nd Uncle Charlie. Thinking of all. Janice (Hare) Sauriol

A fine gentleman. We always looked forward to time with Chuck. To enjoy a smoke and hear his remembrances of a life he fully was appreciative of. He and Camilla are fondly remembered by our whole family.
