Obituary of Mr. Vincent Clarke

Please share a memory of Mr. Vincent to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness and grief that we lost a Father, Father in law, Grandfather, Husband and friend on April 28th/2020 due to COVID 19. Vincent Sr. was the the proud husband of Esme, Father to Patrick (Deborah), Gary (Jane) and Vincent Jr (Jill). He was also the proud Grandparent of Nethaniah, Salomi, Joshua, Avery and Madelynne. Vincent Sr. was without a doubt the patriarch of our family. His serious looking outward demeanour held inside his warm and personable personality. He was welcoming, witty and his sharp brain marvelled all who knew him right up until the end of his earthly life. He did all he was supposed to do as a husband and father. He fell in love with the woman of his dreams, got married, had children, raised his children and provided for his family. He instilled in all of his children the notion to respect and cherish their mother. His simple, quiet yet determined attitude was soldier like and was admired by his friends and family. He worked hard and had a work ethic many wished and dreamt about. He was a leader and lead by example each and everyday. Vincent Sr was strong as an ox both mentally and physically. He was very wise and knowledgable, capable to converse with anyone in a wide range of topics for hours on end. He was a passionate sports fan, accomplished bowler, swimmer and body builder. Vincent Sr. enjoyed tinkering with and learning about cars, was a more than capable backup chef for his family but most of all he enjoyed pampering his wife more than anything. He was protective of her and loved her with an enduring charm that reverberates in life and we are sure in the after life as well. We believe he spent his last days here on earth contemplating to stay or go knowing his wife already left this earth in advance of him. With these choices in front of him he decided to be with his one love. As with his wife Esme, Vincent Sr. will be missed immensely by all who know him but we know he is in a better place together with Esme in Heaven and now is made whole again by our Creator. Vincent Sr. we love you deeply and you know too that you were loved. Our lives were positively changed for the better with you taking the lead. Now, please take a well deserved rest in heaven with your wife after a job well done here on Earth. We know you are looking down on us, watching us with your warm smile. As with your calm confidence, we know we will see you once again. We love you.
