Obituary of Mrs. Veronica Nottingham

Please share a memory of Mrs. Veronica to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
VERONICA NOTTINGHAM (nee Knight) August 22, 1927 – April 14, 2020. It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we share the news of Veronica Nottingham's passing. After a courageous battle, she passed away peacefully with angels by her side and her family in spirit. She is survived by her loving son Christopher and daughter-in-law Pauline. Predeceased by her loving husband Arthur Nottingham, father Frederick Knight, mother Elizabeth Knight (nee Gregson), brother Donald Knight, sisters-in-law Joan Woodson, Phyllis Spencer and brothers-in-law Judd Spencer and Jack Woodson. She will be deeply missed by the Miles family, the Knight/Lovejoy family, the Stone family, the Spencer family, the Woodson family, the Bates family, her many nieces, nephews and their families in California and England and by her many friends in Canada. “Ronnie” was the smartest, the most determined and the most loving woman to ever grace this earth. She adored her husband and son beyond measure and was never afraid to show it; she was a great Mum. She was the red rose of Lancashire, treasured by the white rose of Yorkshire. Fly little white dove fly, spread your wings way up high, cross the universal sky. Special thanks goes to the staff at Seven Oaks Long Term Care Home who provided comfort and care for many years and when she needed it most. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Ogden Funeral Home, Scarborough, Canada with a private family service officiated by the wonderful Reverend Pam. A celebration of “Ronnie’s” life is thoughtfully being planned for the not too distant future. Through tears as well as laughter, love endures. Through rain and sunlight after, love endures.
