PASTORAL'S SYMPATHY & SUPPORT (AGINCOURT CHURCH OF GOD)
To: The Loved ones and friends of Mother Edel Houston,
On behalf of my wife and I, and the Agincourt Church of God's family, I want you to know that we are deeply saddened by the passing of mother Houston. She has always been very special to our hearts.
While we know that words are only a small gesture of support, they certainly can prove comforting in times like these. So, we want you to be encouraged and know that her spirit has touched many people's lives among us and beyond.
She will be forever remembered and forever missed.
With the situation of COVID-19 now affecting every aspect of life, this must be an especially trying time for the entire family. Therefore, we will continue to pray that God will grant you extraordinary comfort for this unusual time.
Please do not hesitate to let us know how we can be of support to you. We stand ready to extend our assistance where needed and possible.
Mother Houston often shared with me how much she feels blessed to have her church family in her life and her favorite saying and convictions were that everything is in God's hand, so she leaves everything to God.
Finally, although it's ok to grieve, let us not forget what Johns said, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." (Revelation 14:13 KJV)
Our deepest sympathy and love to you and yours.
Sincerely,
Bishop Andrae Blake, Lead pastor
