.. good morning Mommy.... you are now free of all encumbrances and can dance with your love..... I am blessed to have been allowed to know you and your love was enough to allow my daughter to have a grandma... you raised your children and your grandchildren in love and strength and your strength was so strong it was emitting from you like Rays from the Sun... everyone who came in contact with you had no choice but to fall in love with you...
. I'm very grateful that on that fateful day of your stroke that I was the one who shared out your lunch for you to take to work that day. You complain that my hand was too heavy and I shared too much for you I told you nothing is ever too much for you... you definitely gave that strength to Angela and your Suns. the strength and love that you passed on to all five of your children is so apparent to anyone that comes in contact with them.... so while your Earthly vessel is resting and you're soul is up with the Father, your love and strength continues down here on Earth.... This is not a goodbye this is only I will see you later..

I met Delicena 5 years ago and we were instantly friends. She was so proud to introduce me to her wonderful family including her daughter and 4 sons. She spoke of her long career as an RN for Belmont Nursing home with fond memories. She would often tell me to pack my bags because we were running away to Jamaica in the morning. She was always quick to try to cheer me up with a hug and her kind words. She loved music and looked forward to going to the church hymn sing-along.
I will sorely miss Delicena and my heart-felt condolences go out to her family and friends. She was a positive, kind-hearted soul who brought a smile to the face of anyone who met her.
Goodbye my friend, I will miss you.

My heartfelt condolences to you Angie, and your family, for the loss of your mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. What a legacy she has left behind, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, are so blessed, that they had their grandmother's love and devotion, the way their parents did. She made sure that she made her sons self sufficient, what a forward thinking woman she was.
Angie, you are amazingly strong, this is the time for all of you, to lean on each other as you loving send your mother off to rest, in the arms of Our Father. She has left the best part of herself, in each one of you, stay blessed, all.
