Christa Elizabeth Lang Furlani, born August 29, 1940 in Munich, Germany, died peacefully February 24, 2020 in her adopted home, Toronto, Canada, surrounded by the love of her family. Though the depth of this loss will always be felt by all who loved her, especially her family, her legacy lives on in her son Andre, his wife Darragh, and their children Noah (son of Mechthild Bauschen Furlani 1961-2002), Ezra, and Emil; and her son Sasha and his wife Jennifer.
A small family service was held on February 28, 2020, and a memorial celebration of Christa’s life will take place on March 29, 2020, where all who knew her and know her family will be invited to join us to honour her memory. Details of this event to be published soon.
