I spent much of my childhood at the Barnes house and have so many fond wonderful memories of Mr. Barnes. His sense of humour, charming smile, twinkle he use to get in his eyes, his endless patience with Linda and I and who could forget his baking. I am so blessed to have had him for a role model growing up. Linda, David, Kim and Mrs. Barnes my heart goes out to you all and the rest of the family. Kim, I am so sorry about the loss of your Dad. Hearing all the stories you told me about the both of you made me feel that I knew him personally. Seeing him in your family pictures shows us all how close knitted your family are. Helen told me how he supported you through your troubles several years ago. David, so sorry to hear about your father's passing. I recall you talking about him many times over the years we worked together at General Cable. You mentioned to me many times that you passed on to your father the many jokes I sent you over the years. I also recall you mentioning that your mother would know when you had sent your Dad jokes as she could hear him laughing in their computer room. You and your family are in out thoughts and prayers.
