Mary Korderas, born Sept 14, 1929 in Sikaminia, Lesbos, Greece, passed
away quietly, surrounded by loved ones, at Scarborough General Hospital
on January 10, 2020, and is now finally at rest. Widow of Christos Korderas,
beloved mother of Julie, Peter and Jim, adored grandmother to Ryan,
Amanda, Kristin and Jessica, and devoted Aunt to Julie (nee
Kougioumtzis) Weiss, mother-in-law to Audra and Dwight, sister-in-law to
Cathy and Margarita, predeceased by her cherished brothers Nicolaos, Themis and
Pantelis, she will be deeply mourned and missed by us all. Mary was a
devout Orthodox Christian, a selfless, generous and loving soul, ever
ready to make sacrifices in the service of her husband, children,
grandchildren and all her friends and loved ones. A beautiful and gentle
soul has left this life and gone to a better place, united now with her
husband, her dear brothers and sister-in-law and her very close friends
Noula and Paul Doinidis. May they all rest in peace and their memories be eternal.
