Obituary of Mr. Charles Omar Ali

Charles “Omar” Ali passed away peacefully on January 3, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Betty and his daughters Hema and Abida and his niece Reshma.
Although his memories faded due to Alzheimer’s he was never forgotten by his brothers, sisters, cousins, friends and family.
Charles was born in Guyana and immigrated to Canada in the 70s. He enjoyed playing chess and taking road trips. His greatest love was jogging which he did almost every day. He also loved welcoming family and friends to Canada by taking them sight-seeing. He was a true friend and brother who could always be counted on.
A private funeral will be held by Ogden Funeral Home. Donations in memory of Charles Ali can be made to The Alzheimer Society of Canada.
