Obituary of Mr. Sunil Hemraj Dargan

Sunil Hemraj Dargan died peacefully on December 30, 2019 at 63 years of age at Scarborough General Hospital in Toronto after his battle with cancer. His loving daughters Natasha Roy, Anita Dargan, sons Jay Dargan, Nicholas Dargan, grandchild Liam Roy, and wife of 28 years Linda Dargan, and brother Vinod Dargan, and sisters Amita Tagare and Sunita Bhalerao survive Sunil. Sunil was born in Poona, India on December 7th, 1956 to Hemraj Dargan and Padma Sardan, and was one of four children. He moved to Canada in his early 20’s, first residing in Quebec and then settling in Toronto. Sunil will be remembered for his love to host his friends and family, upbeat personality, fierce strength, cheerful laugh, love for entertaining, cooking, travelling and sense of adventure. Sunil was a fighter, and even though his health quickly declined, he never gave up hope. Despite cancer taking his body, his mind and spirit fought until the end. We want to thank all his family and friends for their love and support during his battle with a special thanks to his close friends, Siva, Monica and Thea for being by there for him at every step. Visitations will be held at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 between 6 and 8 p.m., and on Saturday January 4th, from 9-10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service and reception on site commencing at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, his family is requesting that you make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in Sunil’s memory.
