To Joyce's loved ones, family and dear friends, wishing comfort to all through togetherness now with so many of us who care.
Having had the delight in life of getting to know Joyce's kindness, generosity, determination, perseverance, inclusiveness, and endless other admirable qualities are saddened in this time of loss. It has been our good fortune to know Joyce as a colleague and we will be forever grateful for her positive influence and infectious spirit, that thankfully live on through the impression she has made and the qualities and strengths she passed along to others around her.
At the gathering to celebrate Joyce's life earlier today, the loving tributes so graciously imparted by family members were truly touching. May we all take solace in continuing to share cherished memories of Joyce's life well lived.

Ken.....when I shared the sad news of Joyce's passing there was a common phrase "Ken & Joyce" ....... you were a team .... you were the team. I worked with Joyce for several years in Toronto at PWGSC around 2004-2008 maybe? She was such a kind person, always helpful and happy and ready for a friendly chat. I am saddened to hear the news of her passing.

I have just learned of Joyce's passing and am heartbroken. She was a much loved colleague and friend. No matter what life threw at her, she would always make the best of it and look on the bright side. She had an infectious smile and boy did she love to laugh and we enjoyed many of those over the years. She was generous to a fault and would always find time and resources for those she cared for. She loved her family dearly and because they were the centre of her universe, I felt like I knew each and every one of them too. When my grandchildren were born, I think she was almost more excited then I was. That is just who she was.
My deepest sympathies to Joyce's family. She will be truly missed by many of us.

Dear Kenny and family,
It was with great shock and sadness that we learned of Joyce's passing. We have so many fond memories of Joyce over many years, mainly at karaoke events. Nobody loved family more than Joyce. Through all of life's challenges, Joyce always spoke of her family with a smile and lots of pride. She was a very classy and practical lady who took great pride in her Native Canadian heritage which we always respected. Joyce was also a very engaging conversationalist who never had a bad word to say about anyone. You never heard any cussing in her presence because she just wouldn't have it.
The world needs good people like her and she's going to be missed greatly. RIP Joyce.
