Obituary of Mrs. Maria Jose Santos

We give thanks for the gift of Maria, who was a passionate, faithful and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to be. Born in her native Portugal in  1930, she immigrated to Canada in 1973. She is pre-deceased by her late husband Jose Pereira Santos.

Lovingly remembered by her two sons Jose (Ana), Victor (Tatiana),  her grandchildren Daniel, Andrew, Anthony and Tiffany (James), who will soon welcome their 2nd child into the world, as well as her sister Maria Conceicao Vicente. Her life was an incredible blessing for us and she’ll be missed greatly. Maria taught our family (and those who knew her) the virtue of faith, hope and perseverance, through suffering and struggle.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Scarborough Campus Network or ShareLife (Archdiocese of Toronto) would be greatly welcomed, in thanksgiving for her life.
