Obituary of Mrs. Pathmavanitha Krishnapillai

Pathmavanitha Krishnapillai (Bava) was born in Atchuveli, Pathameni Sri Lanka in 1958 on March 6. Daughter of Selvarajah Thamotharampillai and Thangamma Periyathamby, Bava was a very giving and kind soul from her earliest years. She attended Yaal Punitha Theresa Magalir Kalloori and soon after got married to Krishnapillai Ratnam. Bava and Krishnapillai became loving parents to Thatchini (Choota), Nathees, and Sayantha. Bava immigrated to Canada in the year of 2010 and over the years became a devoted grandmother to Abilash, Sabaresh, Aarriyen, and Thubishan. Despite the short time we spent with her, she has left all of us with memories that will last a lifetime.  We all remember her as a kind, loving, and selfless soul. Bava passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2019 with her family by her side. Memorial services for Bava will be held at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt, on Saturday October 5th from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m and Sunday October 6th from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m and cremation will be held Sunday October 6th 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. Bava’s contagious smile will continue to live on in all our hearts.
