Born February 28, 1930. Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Michael Garron Hospital (formally Toronto East General Hospital) at 89 years of age.
Son of Bridget (nee: Finnell) and Donald Stewart of Cape Breton. Beloved husband of Loretta (nee: Edwards). Dear father of Lisa, Lance and his wife Amanda, and Todd. Also survived by his Grandchildren, Stephanie, Christine and her husband Kunal, Andrea, Alanna, Janelle and his Great Grandchildren, Ariana, Isabelle, and Lucas.
Allan was a graduate of Acadia University, Nova Scotia, Geologist. He served Canada for 12 years as Flight Captain with the RCAF, and was a retired teacher with the Toronto District School Board.
