Aunt Winnie will for every be a part of our lives. Had it not been for her we would probably have never been in Canada. Uncle Hubert (Aunt Winnie's husband) was a friend of our mother (Thelma Johnson). When he sent for our mother from Jamaica to Canada aunt Winnie had no idea who our mother was, she had never spoken to or seen her before but she invited her into her home for many years with open arms. Even when others would ask the question "why do you allow your husband to bring another woman into your home". She trusted her husband and in turn trusted our mother as well. The friendship and relationship between all parties had lived on for many years. With Aunt Winnie being the last to pass away, we feel as though we have come to the end of an era.
we are forever grateful to you aunt Winnie
