February 14, 1936 – July 25, 2019
Passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 25, 2019 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his wife, Sonya (nee: Isaacs). Cherished companion to Vera Theiss. Loving father to Paul Weissenborn (Liane Gagnier) and grandfather to Claire Weissenborn & Matthew Weissenborn. Predeceased by his daughters Karin Weissenborn and Kirsten Weissenborn. Horst grew up in war torn Germany and came to Canada seeking a better life for his family. He worked hard for his family in shipping and receiving at Eaton’s and then Bear Automotive for many years.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
