My dear Cheryl, Chicky, Clinton, Prunella and Elaine,
With profound sadness my Mum and I received the news of our Daph's passing. She was a very dear friend, deeply respected and a role model in our community. We will always remember her heartwarming smile, her courage in the midst of challenges, her quiet but dependable strength that was a source of comfort to many, her generosity in word and deed, her graciousness, and above all the true friend she was to us.
We remember Daph as a committed Christian with a deep faith and a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. She served many years on the Parish Council working for the Sacred Heart Parish community. As Co-founder of the Friend In Need she started a very effective mission to benefit the underprivileged in our community. It still lives on today impacting many lives,.
We were blessed to meet her again in 2017-18 and have the pleasure and honour of her addressing the Friend In Need in a gathering of 95 friends from the community. It was a very happy and enjoyable afternoon.
The memories are plenty and will live on for many years to come.
Take courage, the separation is temporary, one day all of you will be joyously reunited in heaven. Your Mum, an exemplary Christian, is now in the bosom of the Lord, enjoying heaven with your Dad for all eternity.
May the comfort and the strength of the Lord be with each one of you and your family as all of us pray that Daph's soul lives on in eternal peace.
We will be with you in spirit on the 13th as the Friend In Need offers a Memorial Mass for dear Daph in Our Lady's Shrine. We've also published the obituary and Mass in the Deccan Chronicle. Expecting the community and friends to attend.

Dear Daph,
we are all very sad to learn your sudden demise wherein I wish to shower you with my true praises. I appreciated your true simplicity and your gentleness and a person who do not believe in much of make-up. Myself and my beloved friend Leslie Herft when we both came to know that Daph and Mark got friendly and married. I would also be proud in mentioning that your nature was so good with others, sply with colleagues and friends. I don't think you ever had any enemies. Your presence at our Golden Jubilee had electrified the whole atmosphere and memories to last forever. And you also stole my heart when you used to address my mother as 'MAA' and not Mrs. Sebastian. Presently much of your good deeds are not coming to my mind. May the repose soul of Mark and Daph rest in peace. In conclusion I would like to thank Daph's elder brother Alex Muir who is greatly responsible for lefting me from jobless status and directing me to construction manager BICC (Mr. Millan) by which I built my career in the Railways. Daphne was a client at the adult day program at St Pauls in 2017/18 where i am a volunteer .She was also in.a program at Carefirst centre with my wife .She was a very sweet friendly lady and we were very close friends .She participated in the games and discussions in which she was very knowledgeable . It was our ntention.to pay her a visit at her home but sadly we never got arpund to it . Please accept our condolences , God's peace and comfort to all the family .
