Heather  (Eadie) Cave

It is with great sadness that the Cave family announces the passing of Heather (Eadie) Cave on July 6, 2019 at Scarborough Providence Villa hospital.

Heather was born in Saint John, New Brunswick on May 4, 1946.  Cherished mother of Stephanie Cave (Cameron Cleveland) and Ann-Marie D’Agostino.  Devoted grandmother to four grandsons Derek, Evan and Kalan D’Agostino and Tyler Cleveland.  Beloved sister of Eunice Fox and brother Roland Eadie.  Heather is pre-deceased by her mother Helen (Scribner) Eadie, her father, James Eadie, her brother William, sister Mavis Eadie and son-in-law Adriano D’Agostino.

True to her indomitable spirit, mom left this world courageously and on her own terms, calmly announcing “One Day at a Time”.

During her retirement years mom travelled to her home town of New Brunswick, Alberta, Barbados and made her first visit to Scotland with her best friend Linda Thompson.  Her favourite memories centered on those of time spent with family and friends.

In Heather’s spare time she was dedicated to volunteering at Bridlewood Presbyterian Church where she had made life-long friendships that will be cherished forever.

The family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff and physicians at Providence Villa Healthcare - Palliative Care Unit for the incredible compassion, empathy and care they administered during her last few weeks.
