It was my privilege to know and work with Cathleen. She was passionate about nursing and deeply cared about partnering with patients to improve their experience. She spearheaded a storytelling project in the mental health unit that encouraged patients to tell and share their stories as part of the recovery process. She was determined to share this work at a system level applying to the RPNAO conference. Not content with a poster presentation she embraced the opportunity to speak to her peers. This can be a daunting experience for even the most experienced public speaker. Cathleen met the challenge head on with courage and confidence in her abilities. She knocked it out of the park and I couldn’t have been more proud of her and all that she had accomplished. Her work was inspirational and transformational.
Her quiet yet determined spirit will be missed. My sincere condolences to the family. Rest In Peace Cathleen.

My dear sister-friend Cathleen. I cannot believe it's been a year already since you left us. I think about you daily and miss you more than words can say. I know you are in a better place but I long to hear your voice and laugh at your jokes.
Continue to rest in perpetual peace my dear sister-friend. Until we meet again.

Auntie Emerald is now at peace, and with this may we find comfort that we shall see her again when Jesus returns. May God lighten the heavy load on our hearts and fill them with the beautiful memories of all that she was.

Cathleen was a genuinely good, caring friend and confidante to me. She was also a very good nurse who advocated for her patients.
I still cannot grasp the fact that she is no longer with us.
I know Father God had better plans for her and she is no longer suffering.
To her loving family: Cathleen, spoke very highly of all of you. You brought tremendous joy into her life.
Please accept my deepest and heartfelt condolences. May Father grant you comfort and peace in this difficult time.

My condolences to the family.
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little-but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me-but let me go
For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to home
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
Miss me but let me go.
