Dear Doug and Family: please accept my sincerest and heartfelt condolences on the passing of Kim. Kim and I worked together at 410 and I'll forever remember her kind and gentle spirit and amazing sense of humour. Kim had a way of lightening up the atmosphere with her endless funny jokes and sentimental quotes she would leave on Post-its around our workspace. She had a nickname for all our us and she was our Kimbo, our Kimmy. She would share her love for her Golden retrievers and recount her amazing trips around the world. I will forever miss her and hope she is resting peacefully with her all her furry friends and family.

Doug and Family: I wish to extend my Deepest Condolences For your Loss. Kim was a precious SOUL. Who Will be Missed By All who truly had the Honor of being in her presence. I am reminded of a passage by Marianne Williamson:
The power of GOD is Greater than Death,Our relationships are not Severed at Death, But refocused beyond physical connection. As our vision of Life changes, so will the physical world. As we lift our Eyes above the illusion of Death, we will begin to see the Eternity of Life. Jesus did not die when he died, and neither do We." Rest in peace Sweetie, Beautiful Lady. I trust we will meet again one day.
GOD BLESS you Kim, You truly were a Gift from God.

Doug you were very lucky to have had a wife like Kim. To me she as such a good friend for the short time I knew her., I wish it had been a lifetime of friendship. I know this may be hard to believe but she was like a sister, even though I have two sisters of my own, nether one of them were like Kim. She was very special despite her very negative outlook on life. When the two of us were together we had a great time, like when we went to Casa Loma last Christmas and then our trip to get Hot Chocolate. As I told you just two days prior to her passing we spent about 20 minutes together just laughing despite on how ill she really was. It is very sad to have lost a true friend. Doug take care of yourself and remember despite what life may bring you,Kim will always be in your heart.
Love,
Christine Buehler ( West Park Healthcare Centre)

Though Kim's body was never strong, her strength of spirit was boundless. And, though her physical presence was tiny, her passion for life and the things that she loved was immense. Bruce and I are so sorry for your loss Doug.
We will always remember your Kim with love.

I always enjoyed Kim's gentle soul her love of Iggy and other feathered & furry friends.
She always had a special place in my heart, being able to work with her at Wellesley Hospital and at 410 Sherbourne.
Now she can walk the dogs all day long no more worries

My Deepest Condolences Doug, I have so many great memories of Kim always being kind, loving and funny with me at 410. She would tell me her camping trips stories with her boys. We shared many laughs together and was my coke buddy, when we needed extra caffeine in the afternoons working at 410. I will always remember her, my deepest sympathy to you.
“Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.”

The candle, to me, represents light and hope. Kim, you were both of those things, not only to me, but to everyone you touched. Your smile lit up the room and no matter what you were going through, you were always there for everyone. We are so much better for having you in our lives. Your light will shine on...

Dearest friend Doug,
My heart aches for you for the death of your beloved Kim. I cannot walk this journey of grief for you, if I could I would take that pain away. But please know that I will walk beside you in quiet comfort for as long as you need me.
In this darkness may you take some comfort in all the beautiful memories and the life you and Kim shared.
With love and sympathy,
Michi

If there truly is a Rainbow Bridge, then I know Kim is not alone.
She has already stopped long enough to pick up Iggy (and a few more Goldens) to head off on her next journey. I can see her eyes sparkle and hear her laugh.
Namaste my friend. I miss you!
Love Cathie

Kimmy had the best sense of humour. She always knew had to make me laugh. She was very witty with a mix of dark humour. I knew we would be great work buddies in and out of the office. She used to call me “little buddy” yet she was the small one while I would tower over her at 5’9”. I will forever miss your beautiful smile and our long conversations. I love you dear friend.
