Obituary of Mrs. Cecilia Belben

Cecilia Belben went home to Jesus peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2019.

She was born on March 31, 1921 to Elam and Amelia Belben in New Chelsea, Newfoundland.  She married Aaron Belben on November 27, 1946.  Ten years later, they were blessed with a daughter, Carol Diane.  She gained a son-in-law when Carol married Cluney Cooze and became a grandmother to grandchildren Cindy (married to Frank) and Donny (married to Pamela).  She was blessed with six great-grandchildren: Morgan, Aaron, Ava, Gabriel, Julian and Lauren. 

Cecilia enjoyed a long and healthy life.  She recently celebrated her 98th birthday!  She survived her beloved husband, Aaron, who passed away on March 3, 1996 and her eight siblings: Kenneth, Wallace, Ida, Nettie, Preston, Alfred, Priscilla and Roy.

She will be deeply missed by family and friends who loved her.  As she enters into her eternal reward, she leaves behind a rich legacy of faith, hope and love.
