I met Bill when I first joined Trans-Northern in 1972. He lived only a block away from my house at the time and he very kindly drove me to and from work during my first month. Throughout the next 40 years I looked up to Bill as a mentor of all things "Pipeline". For me he personified a father. During his last few years at the helm, we sat in his office together long after the rest of the staff had gone home, working on plans to strengthen the company for the future. The company is still prospering, thanks in part to Bill's dedication and leadership. I will truly miss him as a friend.

Very sorry to hear that Mr Greer has passed away.
We have many fond memories of family holiday and birthday dinners together over the years. Mr Greer was always kind, discreet, soft spoken, and you paid attention to what he said.
He was a gentleman of the old school.
