Dear Joyce, Ruth, Lois and family, we were sorry to hear that Bill went home to be with our Lord and saviour. We remember Bill fondly for his enthusiasm in leading the congregation singing hymns of faith as well as both Bill and Joyce looking after senior functions so faithfully. We pray God will hold you in his loving arms and brings you comfort during this time. With thoughts and prayers, Mike and Sharon.

Dear Heise Family,
Our hearts go out to you as you grieve the loss of your dad and grandad.
Bill was a gem. He was someone who was so authentic, approachable, and encouraging for us as a young pastor and wife learning the trade at FAC. And we always smile when we remember how he would so enthusiastically describe any special meal that he had had recently. He loved his food!
We know he will be missed much, so we grieve with you in that. And yet, we also know that he is enjoying the best feast of his life with his Saviour now. And so we rejoice with you in that.

It is always so difficult to see our friends parents promoted to Glory, but what I reflect and remember to my past of your Dad, he was a gentle and kind men. He gave care to us younger generation young people at Parkway Bible Church. And I liked him because of that. Mr. Heise was a gentle man who loved the Lord with all his heart. And now he is walking on streets of Gold, Oh how wonderful to be there, but we much wait until the Lord calls each of us Home to be In Glory...And those gone before us will meet us at the Heavenly Gates with our Lord Jesus. Amen. My heart is with all your family.

We were sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He and Joyce have been good friends for many years, dating back to the many times I stayed in their home in Toronto while I was serving with Child Evangelism Fellowship. Their hospitality was great, I enjoyed the fellowship, and it was always like coming home to stay with them. We have been sorry for the health issues they experienced in these recent years, and will always remember our last brief visit, almost three years ago, when they were still in their condo. Joyce was not too well then but Bill was a very gracious host as always. Our loving condolences to the family.

I only have fond memories of your dad. A man devoted to his God and family. Blessed with an awesome sense of humor! When I lost my mom, your mom and dad came alongside my dad to support him, feed him and get him involved in the seniors ministry at First Alliance Church. I am very grateful.
You will be missed Mr. Heise. Well done, good and faithful servant.
