Obituary of Mr. Oscar Muir

On Wednesday, March 14, 2019 Oscar Lockhart Rupert Muir, father of six children, passed away at age 92.

Oscar was born on September 17, 1926 in Georgetown, British Guiana to Wilfred and Alexandrina Muir. He sold Life Insurance and investments for approximately 65 years and delighted in telling people that he still worked at 92…  it was his passion.

Oscar was proceeded in death by his wife Bernadette Veronica, his parents and siblings: Elma, Lucille, Rita and John.

He is survived by all his children: Melvin (Margaret) , Alexis, Andre (Kim), Mark, Christopher (Eileen)  and Ann Marie, his many grandchildren and great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at Ogden Funeral Home in Scarborough on Monday, 18 March, with Visitation from 11am and Service at 12 noon. Internment directly following at Pine Ridges Cemetery in Ajax.
