Your friendship had a profound impact on me, and losing you is still unthinkable. You gave and gave of yourself, and then gave some more. We were the lucky ones who were in your life. I hope you’re on your bike, travelling anywhere and everywhere your heart desires. We will ride together again, my friend, of this I must believe. Lindsie (& Olivia)

I am sorry to hear of Susan's passing. We worked together for many years on Canadian Tax Foundation business, and I expected there would be many more to come. Susan's CTF project, TaxFind, had just reached a new level of excellence, and I am sure Susan must have been proud of that. Susan was always amiable, courteous, responsive, and devoted to her work. She was a pleasure to work with. I didn't know her outside of work, but it was neat to read in these condolences about her interest in long-distance cycling. I will miss her.

Susan and I were classmates during our 12 years of school. She was a friend to all who knew her and a person of incredible talent. I remember spending ours at the restaurant with her and her family. My heart breaks for the Wong family.

I have known Susan literally my whole life. Her mom and dad's business was next door to my parent's business on main street Provost. We knew each other through high school in Provost and then university in Edmonton, and then lost touch for a few years. We didn't remember how we reconnected, but somehow, miraculously, we found each other in Toronto! I was going to university there and Sue was working at the Canadian Tax Foundation. We ended up sharing an apartment and living the Toronto dream for a number of years. I eventually moved back to Edmonton but Sue and I continued our close friendship. We shared an incredible cycling trip to Newfoundland and Labrador in summer of 2017. This was Sue's first-ever long-distance cycling trip, and I will never forget the day we cycled over 100 kilometres. I don't think Sue could quite believe that she had done that. She was very proud of herself, and I was proud of her too. I spent a few days in Toronto with her before heading back to Edmonton, and we visited memory lane by cycling around Toronto. Last September was the last time I saw Susan. I met her in Vancouver where she was attending the Canadian Tax Foundation's BC Conference. We ate sushi at her favourite sushi restaurant, Momos, and rented bikes and cycled from downtown through Pacific Spirit Park to UBC. She left a marzipan chocolate bar in the hotel room for me after she had checked out, knowing I would find it before leaving. We love marzipan! I love you Sue and miss you. You were quiet in your strength.

My heart is broken hearing the news of Susan's passing. I am sending all my love to Zach and Susan's loved ones.
Working with Susan was a pleasure. I could always count on her to laugh at my jokes, offer me snacks, and discuss linen clothes any time of the day.
Thinking of you, Zach.

My heart is broken. Susan was such a beautiful soul, a person who taught me what living is really about. I will forever miss her laugh and I wish that she had the time to do all of the amazing things she had planned. Rest in peace my sweet friend.
