David I remember well. Babysat the kids. I remember joining high school as an introvert and being very nervous.
David and Joanne along with my parents made it that much less scary. Sorry to hear he passed away. The world needs more teachers like David

David was a good friend for 50 plus years and will be sadly missed. We cherish the many memories we have of our times spent together. We shared a few drinks, lots of food, bridge games, and much laughter.

I am so sorry to hear of Dave's death. I taught with him at O'Connor from 1975 to 1982.
We had discovered that we were distant cousins through Jimmy and Mamie McGivney, his great grandparents I believe , who were my dad John McGivney's first cousins. I believe Jimmie and Mamie are in my parent's wedding photo..

Dear Joan and family,
It was such terrible news to hear that Dave has passed away. He was such a delightful guy; taught daughter Mary everything she knew about mathematics. I will remember the good times...a fellow staffer at Senator for 25 years; mayhem with Tom and Jill King, skiing hither and yon. And the day he won the car at an O'Connor fundraiser.
