Frances was a lovely lady and I warmed to her from the very first time I met her.
I always felt that I had known her all my life even though we only met for a little time on each of your visits to Ireland.

It is with great sorrow that we learned of the passing of your dear wife Fran. Having had the privilege of being able to associate with you and Fran in the past, we know how much you meant to each other and we can only imagine the pain you are experiencing at this time. Dorothy and I have very fond memories of our past association with you both. Fran was a pleasure to be with socially and Dot in particular was most grateful for the times that they shared with the other "Pipe Trades Ladies" while we men did our thing. We wish to offer our heartfelt condolences to Sean, Patricia and Mathew, Paul and Julie, Frances’ precious grandchildren and all who have been affected by her sad passing. We hope you can continue to draw on her strength which never wavered right up to the end, and will draw some comfort from the knowledge that while she wasn’t blessed with good health she didn’t let it define her.
Among the many things Deirdre, Ciaran ( her guy), and I will miss was the fact that she was such wonderful company and a great listener. She never let distance nor time differences be a barrier to contact, such was her amazing sense of family. We were always treated like her own and we loved her.

Irene, Pat & family were deeply saddened at the loss of my dear friend Frances. We’ve known each other since we were children in Dublin & the years only strengthened our friendship. Husbands, Children, Grandchildren & even being miles apart never hampered our deep friendship through the years. More recently we communicated through text filling each other in on our children & grandchildren & I know how much Sean along with her children & grandchildren enriched her life.
