My condolences to the family. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one, someone so near and dear to your heart. I only met Ms. Slater over the last two years but always made sure to say hello, or squeeze her hand when I saw her.
Words will not wipe away your tears and hugs may not east the pain but hold onto your memories because forever they will remain.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
