Obituary of Mr. Chan Huy Luong
CHAN HUY LUONG
MAY 1st, 1936 – JANUARY 4th, 2019
Peacefully in his 82nd year, Chan Huy completed his earthly journey with the peaceful nature he always demonstrated.
He was predeceased by his wife CAM MUOI MACH.
They are missed by their children – daughters Clara (Ron), Michelle (Patrick) and son Martinez (Lisa) and his 6 grandchildren Elscar and Chloe, Tiffany and Andrew, and Alice and Marco.
Chan Huy will be remembered for the sacrifices he made for his family both in Vietnam and Canada so that they can have better futures.
He instilled the values for higher education, hard work in his children and grandchildren and demonstrated his love of nature and good food.
There will be no funeral service.
The family is appreciative for the medical care given at North York General Hospital (Dr. Quejada and staff of 8W) and the Palliative doctor (Dr. Leung). Sincere thanks also goes to Dr. Joseph Ly at the Scarborough Health Network (Birchmount Campus). The family recognizes and is thankful for the amazing daily care provided by the staff at Tendercare Living Centre (McNicoll) especially PSW Nicole, Nurses Jenny and Victoria and Social Worker Peggy.
