I have just found out the sad news of Carl's demise after trawling the internet in an effort to try and trace him after many years.
I worked with Carl at Holloway Prison in about 1960 or 1961 before he left to study Law.
I can remember going to a few parties with him in Navarino Road, Hackney at weekends and he was always a pleasure to be with.
