Obituary of Mrs. Lorna Wright

Please share a memory of Mrs. Lorna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

WRIGHT, Lorna E. (nee RODGER) 1945-2018 Peacefully on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Beloved wife of David. Loving mother of Robert (Janet), Jeffrey (Carrie), Leanne (Marc) and Jennifer (Jay). Very proud Grandma of Jason, Melissa, Jaiden, Megan, Benjamin and Kathryn. Lorna will be fondly remembered by many close friends, neighbours and family members. Lorna will be remembered for her love of gardening, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. Lorna could always be counted on to find the perfect recipe from her cookbook collection and to create a beautiful afghan. Lorna received the gift of a liver transplant in 2000 and gratefully enjoyed 19 extra years with her family and for that reason Lorna encouraged everyone to register to be an organ donor. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Agincourt (east of Kennedy Rd.) on Wednesday January 2, and Thursday January 3, from 4-8 p.m. A Memorial service will be held in the Ogden Chapel on Friday January 4 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Hospital for Sick Children, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Alzheimer Society.
