Mrs. Avis Meahjohn

February 23rd , 1929 to December 28th, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Avis Meahjohn, a native of Trinidad, announces her peaceful passing on Friday, December 28th, 2018 in her 90th year.  She was predeceased by her parents Ivy and Jeremiah Motilal, her husband, Ali Meahjohn and brother Matthew Motilal.  She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her children Mickey (June), Ralphy (Annie), Susan (Jamal) and Pat (Ruddie); grandchildren Ian (Giselle) Andy (Calisa), Carissa ( Kramer), Marissa, Sabrina, Gary (Lydia), Gregory, Ryan, Lindsay, Tricia, Michelle (Ryan) and Sarah; great grandchildren, Isabelle, Abigail, Jeremiah, Zackary, Jayden, Samantha, Sofia, Aryan, Aveer, Aidan and Ranaiya.  She will be fondly remembered by her brother-in-law, Ali Mohammed (Christine), many nieces, nephews, dear friends and adopted children, Narina (Ronald) and Arnie. She loved her family and friends and although she will be greatly missed, we all know that she is at peace with no more pain and forever in the hands of her God.

 A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at 6:30pm at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E. Toronto
