Obituary of Mr. Patrick David Mercer

After a hard fought battle with cancer, Patrick Mercer passed away peacefully on November 6, 2018 in Toronto, Ontario, surrounded by his family at Providence Centre. He was born on March 7, 1951 in Chittagong, Bangladesh, to David and Mary Mercer.

Patrick joins his parents David and Mary; brothers Percy and Robert; and grandson Oliver in heaven.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Jessie; daughters Nicole (Marshall) and Patricia(Michael); son Paul(Crystal); grandchildren Emily and Kalum; siblings Louise, Ronnie, Linda, Eugene, Susan and Sandra; and several nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank the staff at Sunnybrook Hospital, Saint Elizabeth, CCAC and Providence Centre for their care and support of not only Patrick, but the entire family.

A funeral service will take place at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 11am followed by interment at Christ the King Cemetery.
