Carlos, you never said you were leaving, and you never really said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knew why.
So many loved ones left behind still need you, and a million times they have cried, and if love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
Much like your Dad, in life, you were such a gentle, kind, loving, caring, compassionate and respectful soul and who was loved dearly.
Now that you have transitioned, our lives and hearts will still go on, but with an enormous void. However, we will continue missing and loving you, because in our hearts, you will forever hold a place-a place no one else can ever fill.
You were young, cool, bright, unique, gentile, the calm among the storm, and it breaks our heart to be forced to come to grips with, and accept the fact that you are physically now gone.
And yet while it breaks our hearts to lose you when God called you home, we are comforted by the fact that you won't be alone and that you didn't go alone.
Your Dad Carl and others will be waiting with open arms, and a part of all your loved ones, and those who knew and loved you on earth, also went with you.
