Mr. Andrew Redmond Allen

Obituary of Mr. Andrew Redmond Allen

Please share a memory of Mr. Andrew Redmond to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Passed away on November 3rd, 2018 in his 87th year.  Born on February 6, 1932 in County Down, Northern Ireland and saved on March 7th, 1954.

Much loved husband of Margaret and (deceased 2000) Cynthia.  Beloved father of Elizabeth-Anne and Denise.  Adored Papa to his granddaughters Mariah and Sarah.  Dear brother-in-law and uncle to the Parton family.  He will be fondly remembered by many cousins from Northern Ireland.

Andrew was dedicated to his family, a stable role model and presence in their lives.  His loved ones were blessed to experience his generosity of spirit and sense of adventure.

He had an unshakeable faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and spent time every day reading and studying the Lord’s word.

Andrew set a fine example for living life with grace and dignity.  He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and the way he could charm with a twinkle in his eye.

As he aged and his mobility declined, Andrew was not deterred from having a grateful, positive outlook on life.  The challenges he faced never stopped him from seeking adventure.

He will be sorely missed by his family who celebrate his life and that he is at peace with his Saviour.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
