It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mary Ruth Bauer (Aykroyd), from Seaforth Ontario, who passed away peacefully on Saturday October 27, 2018 at the age of 77. Wife of Robert for 52 years and forever the love of his life; Devoted mother of Brian (Sarah), Lisa (Dan) and Colleen (Sean); Loving grandmother of Caitlin, Samantha, Daniel, Payton and Emma; Cherished sister of Helen (Vince, d.) and Betty (Mike).
Mary Ruth was a dedicated educator with the Toronto Catholic District School Board. She cared about her students deeply and formed lasting friendships with her fellow colleagues.
The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4165 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt (east of Kennedy Road) on Tuesday October 30th, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 1 Dormington Drive, Scarborough, on Wednesday October 31st, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
