Condolence to the family. I was in deep trouble for something I was surely innocent of my mom had no money to bail nor pay for a lawyer. clement stepped up & helped my mother & me. He didn’t even have to use money to help which showed me in my time of sorrow how respected he was. I never understood why my mom and grandmother always wanted to keep clement as a dear friend I felt like he was an older man to my mom & my grandmother & I didn’t understand how & why they met but look how quick I learned, cause not to long after I met him I was arrested. He had talked to me a bit when I met him & taught me a substantial amount in the time I met him. I’m thankful for his reference I’m thankful for him taking the time to help my mother & a young ignorant black kid that I was. I will never take that for granted nor my freedom again. I will surely make my mother, family & Mr.edwards proud! I know god has really welcomed his son with open arms, thank you again his worship.

My family and I send our deepest condolences to Tricia Renae and all Clem's family and loved ones. Addressing him as Clem is an indication of the friendship and affection we have had for him over many years; and does not take away from the respect we have for his official title, His Worship Clement Learie Edwards. We mourn with you at his passing; and, like you, we will continue to hold him fondly in our hearts. May he RIEP. Continued blessings to you all.

Hello Trician and family,
My deepest condolences to you and your family.
I remember Trician running into you a few months ago at the mall, I was with my husband and you mentioned your dad being sick. You also said how strong and positive he was feeling about his illness and that made you feel positive as well. It showed how strong your dad was because he was a man of God and that was past on to you and it was reflected on you when my husband and I heard you talk.
May you continue that strength by leaning on our Lord God, just like your father did. Lean on God for Strength to lift your Spirit up and your family's as your dad lifted you with his attitude and also for Understanding that your dad is now at peace.
As the word of God says : "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3
God wants to be our source of strength, and part of that is releasing our feelings and grief in His hands.
Sorry for your loss. God bless you and your family always.

I wish unlimited unbound blessings to the entire family … Clem will remain as a unique person to me … that will always have a place in my life.... We shared a fondness of axioms , parables and music. which are some of the things in life that show expression and a willingness to. communicate. His booming voice and presence never needed an introduction as we all know he is blessed. As I grieve his transition to another existence. I think of the people he loved as a Father, Husband, Brother, Cousin, Relative, Friend, Colleague, and the yet the meet, and wish you all what you need to enhance your life with a bridge to over stand, love to heal, and a healthy mind and spirit.

Your voice.
The fondest memory I have of you is sitting and listening to your stories of your childhood and how it shaped you into becoming the person that you were. I remember feeling as if I was sitting at the feet of this wise and grand oracle who when he spoke carried the wisdom of all of the qualities that one should possess as they walk on this earth. Your voice was as strong and powerful as the tilting of the earth itself, I could not help being moved. You spoke of the importance being upright with your words. To never forget where you come from. To show respect and decency to others that may lack it. To be try and say a kind word to someone who may need it the most.
I am grateful to have been in your presence.
The world may have lost your magical voice, but it will never lose the memories that you have left behind.
Rest In Power, Your Worship.

As a colleague of Clement’s I did not know him well on a personal basis.
However, as a fellow justice I liked him and respected him.
He brought a sense of dignity to the role of a justice that is critically important to retaining respect for the position, especially in youth court. His passing is a great loss to the Justice of the Peace bench in Toronto.
To his family and friends, while grieving your loss, please know that Clement made a very significant contribution to the administration of justice in Ontario and he will be missed by those of us who had the pleasure to serve with him.
