Obituary of Mr. George "Murray" Webster

WEBSTER, George “Murray” – (June 1938 – September 20^th, 2018)

The family of Murray Webster sadly announces his passing on Thursday, September 20^th, 2018 in his 81^st year. Predeceased by his loving wife Maggie, Murray will be remembered by his younger brothers Eric (Donna) and Dr. Peter (Nancy) and their families.  Born to the Rev. Dr. Roy and Dr. Grace Webster in P.E.I. he traveled as an infant to China where he lived until age 11. For two years he was a student at The Canadian School in West China, a boarding school. As a young man in Orillia he enjoyed his time with the Sea Scout Troup and was elected to the Older Boy’s Parliament in his senior year of High School. As an adult in Toronto he worked in IT and, always curious, he enjoyed his Mensa membership. His family is thankful for the excellent care that he received at Wellesley Central Place and Toronto Western Hospital. There will be a private family interment at the Knox United Church Cemetery in Agincourt.
