Our deepest condolences to the family. So sorry of the passing of our dear aunt Essie as we all call her.
She was a very loving and kind hearted aunt. I remember in our youthful days we couldn’t wait for Sunday to come for us to visit. knowing you always have something to give us. You were one of the best aunt that we had. We could call on you at anytime for anything. You were a wonderful person to my siblings and me. A very virtuous wife to our dear uncle. You will be truly missed. Aunt Essie I know you cannot read this or hear us. But we all love you and you will always be in our hearts. So you sleep on. Sleep on and take your rest. We love you but God loves you best. May your dear soul R. I. P.

The lady with the infectious laugh. To some you were Miss Essie, Sister Lawrence, Sty Essie, Aunt Essie, Mama, Grandma but to me you were Aunty.
Thinking of all the great times we had, both in Jamaica and here in Canada. Coming over to Brampton and spending time with us was always a great time. I knew I could pick your brain about something I wanted to bake.
We baked, cooked, laughed and talked about everything.
The last time you were by me which was in "May" I know you were not feeling well.
You said to me" I love coming over here, but as you see I can't come anymore, but don't forget me".
Those words made me sad, but I was also aware that your health was failing.
I could not have forgotten you, and I never will.
You were kind to a fault. So giving yet expected nothing in return.
The accident you had really made life challenging for you, yet you didn't complain.
Whenever we spoke, and I would say, " hi Aunty how are you", your response would be "here sweetheart giving God thanks". You have left a void in our lives, but we can take comfort knowing that you are not in pain anymore.
We will cherish the great times we had together. Just lasting memories.
We miss you terribly. Gone but never will be forgotten.

Grandma Isie,I know you cannot hear me, BUT I know that you knew how well loved, respected,appreciated, cared for, and regarded you were.You were a Gem...a Diamond...a God-fearing Woman who touched many lives with your genuine maternal gift.An Awesome Lady..a pleasure and blessing to have met you...so sorry you did not meet my son who you so beseeched me to have...(with your winning smile and melodious laughter.)
