MIYANISHI, Yoshie Minnie (nee YAMADA) December 19, 1916 - August 16, 2018 Passed away peacefully at Fieldstone Commons, predeceased by her husband Toyozo and daughter Haruko Shirley (Gerald) Anderson. Beloved mother of Theodore "Ted" (Monna) Miyanishi and Akiye (Oddie) Halseth. Dear bachan of Kent (Sherri) Anderson, Kimberley (Stephen) Thorne, Brent Miyanishi, Kara (Trevor) Ritchie and Craig (Allison) Halseth. Great-bachan of Courtney, Curtis, Rory, Elizabeth, Logan and Yukie. Loving Obasan of Edward (Hisako) Tanaka, Richard and many more. Many thanks to Fieldstone staff, floor 3A, for their tender care. A Buddhist service will take place at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., on Thursday, September 6th. Visitation at 10 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. Interment at 2 p.m. in Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of Koden, donations can be made to Toronto Buddhist Church or a charity of your choice.
