So sorry to hear the sad news of Trevor's death. I send deepest sympathy to the family. I remember when Trevor lived in London, and he use to spend time with his Aunt Mignel (my mother) and family in Cricklewood. Fun times were had.
Love from your cousin Cheryl Catwell London UK

SJ 'Jerry' Hall -- Combermere School Old Scholar/UK posted a condolence

Hi
Trevor Griffith, an old Combermerian and former contemporary
passed on August 17, 2018.
Trevor was in the school cadets, No. 3 Company, and was at the
Drill Hall and Waterford. He was among some of the guys who
joined the British Army, and later moved to Canada.
He died following prostate cancer and Alzheimer.
A funeral service is panned for this Saturday morning here in Ontario.
May he rest in peace,
Tony ("Paddy") Padmore
My condolences to the family. MAY HE REST IN PEACE.
Trevor and I go back to the St Giles days where we started,
and continued at Combermere in 1955. He disappeared after
we graduated in 1961/62 and I later learned he went off to
Britain. I never heard or saw him again until I arrived in Toronto in
1980. We hooked up and became good friends again when he
frequently stopped by for a cup of tea.
Trevor was always a very quiet and determined guy. Full of fun and
enjoyed a drink.
We last met in Barbados in 2012 when he invited to a party at his house.
We promised to be in touch on my return. But that exercise failed as
our schedules made it impossible. And as the years went by I often remember
him and wondered how he was doing. I didnt know he was ailing.
It is sad to loose another of my original school mates
MAY HE REST IN PEACE

My condolences to his family and loved ones.
May he be re-united in peace and love forever with the Creator.

Sincerest condolences to Trevor's friends and family.
Like Paddy, I too remember him at the Garrison, Waterford and as a fellow cadet.
May he rest in peace.

I remember Trevor Griffith very well – we were at St. Giles and attended lessons both with Mr. Greenidge as well as Mr. Cumberbatch. I think we were in 5th form together at Waterford.
If you happen to attend the service please convey my condolences to his family.

Dear Tony,
I am saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Trevor Griffith. I should like to extend my sympathy to his relatives.
May he Rest In Peace.
If he was a student at Weymouth and the Drill Hall, as well as a cadet, our paths must have crossed at some stage. I am pleased that, by all accounts, he seems to have lived a rewarding life.

Hi
We were asking after Trevor Griffith, only two years ago, as he had slipped off the radar.
I knew Trevor Griffith very well as we were in 1-A together, at the Drill Hall.
We went into different 2nd Forms.
As a British soldier, he was entitled to live in UK, but chose to live in Canada.
Another Old Scholar from our era, has fallen.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
Jerry Hall, CSOSUK

Re: A former Combermere School classmate.
We both started at Combermere School, Drill Hall, garrison, Barbados, in September 1955 and were classmates in Form 1-A.
I always remember Trevor as a quiet, steady and determined guy, and friendly.
Trevor was among the first group of young Barbadians to be recruited directly in the British Army.
I was saddened to hear of his passing and express sincere condolences to his family and friends.
May he rest in peace.
