Just thinking of how luck Arlene and I and Matthew were to have such great neighbours. Arlene passed August 19 th 2022. My sincere condolences from our family to yours. Shocking that he passed so soon after we left the city

May your many loving memories of Denis give you comfort now and in the days to come. I have many fond memories of Denis during his time as a Returning Officer, he had a gift of warming up the room and ensuring we were always working as a team. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Denis always brought a welcome dose of sardonic Irish wit to his endeavours.
He will be remembered as man passionate about caring for zoo animals, delighting his many audiences with slide shows and fascinating displays of artifacts.
And stories! "Did I tell you the one about the camel that walked into a bar in Toronto..."
I will remember him particularly as a highly dedicated and thoroughly professional federal Returning Officer -- a great team player and a man not afraid to roll up his sleeves to get the job done.
My sincerest condolences to Valerie, family and friends...

Dear Frazers,
We were very saddened to hear of Dennis' passing. I will miss his smile at family gatherings and his stories about the Toronto Zoo. With his assistance, Zoe and I were engaged to be married along a quit out of bounds road in the zoo. It was a lovely moment that he helped to make happen. We will always be grateful.
Even when someone is ill and the end is expected, the loss of a loved one still comes as a shock. We take comfort that Valerie has the love and support of such a large and lovely bunch of people and that you all have each other. There is nothing easy about this, and our thoughts are with you.
