Obituary of Ms. Lucy Wright

JUNE 28 1922 ~ JULY 22 2018

Lucy Leontina Wright, in her 96th year, was called home peacefully by our LORD and Saviour on July 22 2018 surrounded by her family.  Lucy was the 4th born of ten siblings.  She is survived by her 2 younger siblings Audley and Maureen and her 4 children.  Lucy’s parents Earnest and Agatha Wright pre-deceased her many years ago. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great- grandmother and a wonderful friend to so many. She leaves behind her four Children Novelett Dunbar, Arthur Wint (Lesma (Elaine)), Florence Wint-Benjamin (Grady) and Carlton Reid (Hindia). Her eighteen Grandchildren, Sandra Morgan, Michael Bartley (Catherine), Jackie Cockett (Nigel Gardiner), Kesha Wint, Kimberly-Anne Wint, Jay Wint (Peta Thomas), Kam Wint, Karla Wint, Deanne Wint, Dale Smith, Dillon Wint, Denean Benjamin, Dwain Benjamin, Kizzy Reid-Ebanks (Andre Ebanks), Jesse Reid, Kadeem Reid, Ishmael Reid, and Akilah Nelson-Reid. Her twelve Great-Grandchildren, Crystal Barnes, Elijah Smith, Ginaya Smith, Terrel Gardiner, Lamar Gardiner, Khaleel Eccleston, Makeda Wint, Jordan Brown, Kingston Wint, Jeremih Wint, Kai Wint, Kason Wint. Her two Great Great-Grandchildren Jahnia Ebanks and Logan McNiven. She will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends. Although we are grieving deeply, we truly feel blessed to have had her in our lives.  She is now resting in God’s arms. 

Visitation will take place at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave E., (at Midland) on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 5-9 p.m.  Funeral Service will take place at Agincourt Church of God, 95 Nugget Avenue, on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11 a.m.  Interment Duffin Meadows Cemetery, Pickering.  In lieu of flowers the family will be honouring her life by donating to a charitable organization. 

We will miss her dearly.
